Faced with an aging building, water leaks, and security issues, the City of Charleston, IL., was faced with the difficult decision to renovate its existing facility in a desirable location or move to a new facility elsewhere. UAA coordinated with the city to solve all of these issues and breathe new life into a troubled building. The project consisted of an interior renovation of the public spaces of the building to increase occupant comfort and safety, as well as a partial exterior renovation to address water infiltration issues and an aged façade.
